Since childhood, Wei Zhan was well protected by his family. He was concealed from the outside world. He was always a target to the power-hungry beast but he can't just stay isolated. When he turned 17 and got a chance to go out, he was kidnapped and indirectly saved by Lan Yibo who became his company to explore the outside world. However, the enemies are always on their way and even Lan Yibo's pack is targeting him. Will Lan Yibo still be able to save Wei Zhan if he goes against the ordinances of their pack?
PROLOGUE
Wei Hun Min's family is living in an isolated place located in the hills far away from the city. He chose to live in a simple way to give his two lovelies a peaceful living. He turned down the position of becoming the leader in their society. Another reason is that he had crossed the line of the rules between vampires and werewolves that they can't interact with one another however, he fell in love with a vampire and they produced a hybrid son and they named him Wei Zhan.
There is a prophecy about hybrids being a threat to their lives and if someone killed a hybrid its power will transfer to the killer.
The couple pampered and protected their son well. He grew up into a beautiful young boy getting the genes of both of his parents a combination power of vampire and werewolf which made him into an extraordinary creature.
Fe Zuan and Wei Hun Min escape so that they will not be separated. Both of their families were still looking for them since their disappearance. Their enemies were also on alert to find opportunities to take advantage of their situation.
On the 10th birthday of Wei Zhan, he asks his parents to allow him to explore outside. His parents permitted him to go but not too far, especially not in the deep forest.
He was so happy to explore around and got curious about everything he saw. He went to the wildflower field and he was fascinated by the view. A magnificent butterfly passed by him then, he try to catch it but he can't so, he followed it until he was near the deep forest. When it's finally in his grasp another hand caught it. He gasped looking at the boy in front of him. His heart beats fast it's his first time seeing another being other than his parents. He can't move just admiring him. He has fair white skin, cherry red lips, a sharp jaw, high bridge nose. The gorgeous boy smiled at him.
" Hi! Do you want to hold it? Come here open your palm." The lad try to get friendly and caught Wei Zhan's attention. The gorgeous boy was overjoyed coming to that place because he met the most attractive soul he has ever encountered in his life." Do you live here?" He is curious about him.
" Yes, I live not far away from this place. How about you? Why are you here? It's my first time seeing you.?" He enquires.
" I ask my father to allow me to have a relaxation and explore the deep forest and strengthen my abilities so that I can help and protect our pack. Do you want to join me? How will I address you? I'm Yibo."
" Call me Zhan. I want to but, how do you strengthen your abilities? I don't know anything about it."All his life he was under the protection of his mother and father he didn't know about the matters outside nevertheless, his curiosity overpowers him.
" It's okay, don't worry. Let's start with a game. Whoever catches that deer will win. Deal?"Yibo encourage him because he wanted to play with the wonderful boy.
" Huh? Alright, I will try." He love to play with him but he was contemplating because in his entire life this is his first time engaging with someone his age.
" Ok, ready?"
" Hm, ready."
" 1..2..3..Go!" Yibo waited for Zhan to move further before he moved to race to catch the deer but he senses danger prowling around the area while Zhan is nearing the deer someone jumps in front of him.
A man with an athletic body wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. Grinning sticking out his tongue." Well... well what we have here. A glorious young lad. This is the best prey that I will bring to the pack. The man thought.
Wei Zhan was horrified to see this man giving him unnecessary feelings. He and Yibo will be in trouble. He thought.
Out of instinct Lan Yibo attacks, the strangers trying to get him were badly injured he fights with all his strength. He can't let this beast do what they want to do to them. All he thinks about is Zhan's safety so he strikes with so much force.
Hearing the commotion Wei Zhan and the leader of the group watch the fight. Wei Zhan is getting anxious praying that Yibo will not be harmed. The leader is astonished by the fighting spirit of the young lad. The combat between his members and the young lad is quite a show to watch.
After the fall of his last opponent, he quickly looks for Zhan but can't find him. Then, he follows his smell going into the deep forest the leader carried his unconscious body. He takes shortcuts to jump and take Zhan's body from the man but the man didn't budge. The man e tried to avoid him and run away but he didn't let him go. They both struggle for Zhan. Although the man is bigger than him he will not back down for his newly found friend. He had to protect him from this beast. After the long battle, he got so many injuries the same as the other. Then finally got the opportunity to take the man down. He quickly brought Zhan to the deep wilderness to find a place to hide.
After a long search in the wilderness, he found a hidden passage and promptly inters in it. Then, fortunately, he found a cave and lay down Wei Zhan's body on the soft grass. He checks on him if there is an injury then he sighs with relief that he's fine. He lay beside him and hug Wei Zhan still under his protection mode because he was injured badly. Now that they hide in the cave he felt the pain all over his body and suddenly fell into unconsciousness.
At daybreak, Lan Yibo is still sleeping until noontime. He sits abruptly and finds Zhan isn't beside him anymore. He gets panicked. He called for him but no Zhan is responding. He searches for him inside and outside but no one anymore. He cried and screamed for his name but still can't find him.
Chapter 1
There's a young-looking man who is feeling restless in his stone bed, he can't find the quietude of the night even if he is in his special place. He can't find a reason for his distress. This is his hidden place to find solace but he is under tension so he goes out and walked in the deep forest.
While in a faraway deserted building there's an eerie atmosphere that can not stop a group of people from doing criminal acts.
The room is dark, with no windows and without any furniture. There is a person tied up in a chair, blindfolded. He is located on the topmost floor. Outside the door, there standby two guards while the others are on the lookout for any intruder in that abandoned building. They are waiting for the call and instructions from their Boss for their next move.
"Hey, Wil! I'm so bored now I want to taste that boy first before we dispatch him." The man in a leather jacket said grinning.
"Are you sure that we're going to dispatch him? I just don't want you to be in trouble. You know I still want to live to find my missing brother." The other replied hesitatingly.
"Whatever, don't be a coward. I want him. He's so beautiful. I haven't seen anyone who's much more good-looking than that boy." The Man opens the door and walk-in"Can't you see? I can't wait anymore." While the boy on that chair was awakened by the sound of the creaking of the door and the voices of the two men. He was on full alert, studying his situation and thinking of ways to get away with the harm he was in.
"Hey, beautiful! I'm excited because you're now awake. How about I give you pleasures you haven't experienced in your life. I know you are tired and bored there already. Let's have some fun. Hmm? Your blindfold suits you very well."The Man says while licking his lips.
Hearing those words the boy cringe but he calms himself.
At the abandoned building's first floor entrance the leader of the kidnappers is on call to their Boss.
"How is the boy?" The other line ask
"He is in the secured room on the top floor guarded by my men."
"Okay keep him well there first and wait for my instructions." The other line was cut off after saying that.
He checked the boy after the call ended to be sure that he was still bound in that area but widened his eyes for what he saw inside when he got there.
"You fools! How come you are laying there? Where is the boy?"The leader is in a rage so he kicks the two to stand. He understood that the boy is not in their grasp anymore. They have planned this kidnapping very well and successfully got the boy from its tight security when they get the opportunity. Only to slip away from them. He knows very well that the boy is weak how come he escaped from there.
The two recalled what happened earlier but didn't say anything.
Earlier...
The man in the leather jacket touches his head down to his nape and then twitches his head left to right while drooling watching the feast in front of him. While the other one is enjoying and excited about the show happening in front of him.
"Okay, how will I have fun if I'm tied up here? The young man asks." Please untie me I will do what you want." He boldly said then lick his lips seductively. The man was clouded by his sinful lust so he excitedly obeyed pronto. He will not take it slow when the alluring beauty is the one initiating.
The boy stands and back away distancing himself from the pervert. He stretches his muscles for a warm-up. Try your luck if you can. He thought. He signals the man to come over. He's still wearing the blindfold which gives him extra attractiveness showcasing his killer smile.
" How about you're the one to be blindfolded? I think it suits you."He says in a voice that sounds alluringly so that he can convince the man and lowers their guard. He subtly holds the man's collar and quickly pulls it and hit his testicles and slams him to the other one without giving them a chance to process what is happening. He kicks them both brutally until they lay motionless.
They were snapped back to the present.
"You useless crazy jerk! What are you standing there for? FIND HIM!!"The leader yelled snarling at the two of them from their concussion.
The boy finds his way out of that building unnoticed by others. He ran out of there going into the deep forest.
After hours of running, he had found a hidden cave. Then, he surveyed the inside and hide there. He was still on the lookout for the abductors, it was getting late now, and still on guard. He doesn't want to rely on that hidden place so finally, after hours of observing, and didn't find any presence. He felt exhausted and found a place to have a comfortable sleep. Then he was amazed to find out a hidden passage at the dead-end of that cave. He was in awe when he saw the place because at the far end there was water flowing beautifully under the illuminating light of the full moon. He again surveyed the area for any harmful creatures and wild animals but found none and felt relieved, with his keen observation he discovered a chamber with human necessities. Maybe there is someone who lives there he was contemplating if he stays there or leaves the place to avoid intrusion into someone's place but because of his exhaustion and tiredness from runnings, he found himself settling in the stone bed curled on the soft mat and tuck himself under the blanket and felt warm and secure. He sniffs it and finds it very familiar with the addictive smell. The boy thinks that person smells so good, after filling his nostrils and lungs with the scent lingering in the blanket and pillows he fell asleep.
Chapter 2
"Oowooooo" He was awakened and was frightened and felt shivers all over his body when he heard a howling wolf. It is still dark so he lay again. He observe and feel the surroundings but nothing strange happened so he fell back to sleep again.
In the dark deep forest, the restless man sensed that dangerous armed men are lurking not very far away from his place so he shifted his appearance and attack them one by one.
"Grrrrrrr..."
"Wil! Did you hear that? You know, there's a rumor that a wild beast is residing here in the forest that anyone who came here can't leave alive. I think there are wild animals here who attack people."Said the man in a leather jacket trembling but then, suddenly, when he turned around there's a werewolf who is taller than him." Oh no! A big dog. No. No, no a wolf. Wolff! Ahhh!
They were frightened that they cannot defend themselves from the beast that are wrecking them even though they have their firearms even firing at the beast was useless. After half an hour all the bodies of the criminal were mutilated blood are oozing from every part. It's gruesome to look at.
When the young man was back in his spot he sniff an enticing scent that was quite a bit familiar that gives him a different sensation. Then found the most gorgeous sight in his entire life. The man his age is dozing on his bed curled like a baby. He sniff and sniff and filled his lungs with the very addicting scent which gives him serenity. He is thinking if this is only a dream. He can't believe what he is watching. He memorizes the magnificence in front of him if this is only a fantasy, he wants to instill it in his mind. Is this still my illusion no he is true. I fínally found you. A real one of my kind. He subtly touches his complexion. He is one of my kind. He repeatedly convinced himself. The beauty only stirred in his sleep feeling the warmth of the surrounding so he slept deeply because of exhaustion and doesn't feel in danger anymore so he loses his guard.
Lan Yibo sits beside the bed he is so happy that finally he is within his grasp and can not detach his eyes from observing the ethereal darling in front of him. He wasn't sleepy anymore as he can watch him for eternity.
At sunrise, he prepares breakfast for his guest. Then, suddenly the gorgeous man was awakened from his sleep because of the noise of his surroundings. He had sensed that he got a companion and sniffed the addicting scent of the man. He got up from the bed and do the bedding quickly.
"Hi! Did I wake up you?" How was your sleep?" He was frozen in his spot hearing the deep icy voice of the man. He was like having a heart attack. Then, He turned and look at the approaching man. Who's look is above the ordinary. He was stunned staring at him blankly. Oh my, he's so attractive.
"May I know who you are, please?" The man asked him again to know his full name and to be sure that he is Zhan.
He regains his stupor. "Hmmm, Hello, I am so sorry for the intrusion here in your area. I'm Wei Zhan and you are?" He shyly answered back and asked feeling the burning sensation in his body. Meeting this person gave him unexplainable emotions. His heart beats fast. Ok breath in breath out. He calms himself.
"No, please do not be sorry. I wouldn't mind if it were you. By the way, I'm Lan Yibo." He paused and observe him. He didn't recall me? Oh no maybe he forgot about me. He thought." I'm grateful for having you here." He smiled looking at him straight in the eyes." Come, let's have breakfast first, I know you're hungry."
They eat in silence while glancing at each other. They have many questions about themselves but refrain to ask and finished first their food.
Lan Yibo can not stop wondering about the young man."I'm just curious how you ended up here? This is a hidden place." Staring at the nervous man in front of him.
"I was very unfortunate to be abducted by a group of people whom I don't know then got an opportunity to escape and ended up here. I am on my way to travel to have a vacation but got ambushed by those criminals but still, I'm fortuitous to meet you here."He wants to add but doesn't have the courage to.
Hmmm, so he's the reason for those men lurking outside."Well, I think you can stay here to hide from the kidnappers and change your vacation destination to avoid them. Don't worry you are safe here with me. I can't let you go knowing some men are targeting you."
"Am I not disturbing you here? Are you living here alone? Where is your family?"
"No, not at all. You are not a disturbance. I came here when I'm feeling troubled. I'm delighted for having you here with me." Yibo convinced him with a beseeching look.
Can I trust him? But I feel safe with him. Wei Zhan convinced himself so he agreed. "Okay, I'm in your charge now."He smiled looking through his eyes but avoiding it quickly. He can not gaze longer because of his shyness.
"I assure you. You will not regret coming here. I'm enthusiastic to show you around." Lan Yibo feels excited about accompanying this person.
"I'm looking forward to the sightseeing". Zhan replied triggering, his eyes forming into a crescent moon.
Lan Yibo looks down and gathers the used utensils to wash. He can not control himself gaping at Zhan. He's like a magnet that pulls him in his direction.
" Can I help you?"Wei Zhan came to his aid following him to the washing area.
"Do you know how to do this?" Lan Yibo wondered cause He looks like a fragile person who is always attended to his needs.
"You can teach me. I'm willing to assist."
"Great!"
Chapter 3
After they were done with the chores, Lan Yibo get his swimwear and handed them over to Wei Zhan. He was glad to share with Wei Zhan what he have. They were going to bathe at the falls.
Now that it was daylight Wei Zhan was in awe at the view of the falls it was very captivating located in between enormous trees with colorful flowers on the cliff even on the ground a lot of wildflowers and plants too.
" Wow, it's beautiful!" He says in delight.
"Not as beautiful as you." Lan Yibo retorted while chuckling. He was fascinated seeing the expressions made by Wei Zhan it was like a morning breeze cool and refreshing making him shiver down within his inner core.
Wei Zhan feels embarrassed about hearing the compliment. His legs felt like jelly which gives him an unexplainable feeling. He can't look at him. He is not used to someone flattering him. To avoid with interacting the others with an overwhelming gesture, he runs to the body of water and splashes himself but, he did a wrong move the part he jumps into is very deep and he was drawn to the bottom. Lan Yibo waited for him but no Wei Zhan emerged so he got panicked and dived into the deepest part. After minutes of searching for him, he found the unconscious body in the innermost part then, he carried him in a bridal way and lay him on the ground covered with grasses, and do the first aid.
After many attempts of CPR, Wei Zhan is finally back to consciousness." Zhan Zhan, why did you suddenly jump? I thought you know how to swim please don't do it again I am so worried about you. " I thought he is one of my kind but how come he can't even swim. He makes him sit and lay his back on his chest and he back hugs him while Zhan is enjoying the best treatment of the other and feeling Yibo's rapid heartbeat. He didn't try to get away from him anymore the first avoidance turned him into a risky situation. He can't deny that deep inside of him the attraction for Lan Yibo can't be suppressed.
"I'm sorry, I made you worried. I will not do it again." He replied in a voice so soft almost a whisper. Why have these weaknesses when near him? I feel so vulnerable, can't explain what's happening to me. I'm not like this to anyone before. He was wondering about this strange feeling since he met him.
"Please be careful next time." Lan Yibo pleaded to look closely at him with a concerned expression. There is this feeling that he wants to care for him, to be with him, to make sure he is safe, and above all else, make sure of his happiness.
Silence. They enjoyed the view and the sound of nature not changing from their position. Not feeling cold because of the warmth emitting from both of them. Filling their noses to their lungs the intoxicating scent radiating in their bodies.
Wei Zhan felt like in heaven being hugged by Lan Yibo a celestial entity he knows there is more about him that can not be seen by the naked eye of a human being.
After a long time, Lan Yibo broke the silence. " Are you okay now? Do you still want to swim? All that matters to him is Wei Zhan's well-being which he can't do just to anyone.
"Yeah, I'm ok now. I need to swim." He needs to cool himself to calm down the burning sensation in his body. Having in contact with Lan Yibo's body activates his senses which are hard to suppress. There's something like a power that is trying to outbursts controlling his own accord.
"Okay, If you're fine with it." Yibo guide him to the shallow part and they enjoyed swimming until they were exhausted. For the first time, Yibo appreciated another presence together with him doing anything.
During the night after their dinner, Lan Yibo shares his nightwear with Wei Zhan and guides him to bathe in the cold pond. Wei Zhan is embarrassed bathing Lan Yibo with him removing his clothes in front of him. He can't help staring at his magnificent physique compared to his he is a man but has a slim built small waist not muscular. He felt shivers down to his core his heart beats fast when the other stared at him intensely.
"Are you feeling cold?" Lan Yibo asks him worried."If you're cold let's hurry so that you can change to warm wear and have a rest."
"I'm fine don't worry" He bathes fast and changes to the new set of clothes while the other is busy bathing.
On their way to the inner chamber, Wei Zhan is having trouble inside his head cause there's only one bed. While Lan Yibo is having the opposite feeling he is excited to share the bed with Wei Zhan.
Feeling distressed Wei Zhan asks" Where will I sleep?"
"There's only one bed here so we are sharing the bed."
" Is it okay with you if we sleep together?" His eyes widened mouth agape Realizing what he just blurted out. He suddenly senses his burning cheeks crawling to different parts of his body. It's so embarrassing, why did I say those words? What will Yibo think of me? What if he misunderstood me? Wei Zhan thinks. He thought. "You know this is my first time someone sleeping beside me." He said again awkwardly.
Lan Yibo having a great time of his life watching Wei Zhan with different expressions makes him overwhelming."It's fine with me. We are the same just don't kick me out of my space okay?"He assured him grinning widely. Wei Zhan has no choice but to share the same bed with Lan Yibo.
When he was alone here last night makes him calm and secure but now that Lan Yibo is beside him he was so nervous that he can't sleep. There's something inside him that is going to outbursts. And he can't understand the things happening to him since he met the gorgeous man.
Lan Yibo sensing the restlessness of the beautiful man releases his calming pheromones. Feeling the presence beside him stirs the wolf that he is trying hard to control.
